Arctive Citizens is a citizen-led, digital-first civic innovation initiative reimagining how African youth engage with democracy and governance. We design creative, accessible, and tech-enabled pathways for people to participate meaningfully in shaping just and equitable societies.

We’re not “activists” in the traditional sense, we are creative citizens, community builders, and innovators using culture, play, and technology to make civic engagement fun, inclusive, and transformative. We believe democracy should be lived daily not just during elections.

Our mission is simple yet profound: to reimagine and expand the ways people participate in civic life, ensuring that active citizenship is accessible to everyone, regardless of background or resources.

We approach citizen engagement with humility, believing that the best solutions come from those most directly affected by the issues. This belief drives us to experiment, prototype, and test new civic models that reflect the realities of everyday citizens.
